Use your own domain for videos and channels

This article describes how you can use your own domain to open video & channel links.

Steps to use your own domain

  • Please add your domain to the DynTube dashboard under the "Hosted Domains" section.

  • Change the DNS records of your domain to create a CNAME that points to the following: your_domain.com CNAME custom.dyntube.com

  • Once the domain propagation is complete, please type in your domain name in the browser a couple of times. It will take up to a couple of minutes for our system to auto-generated the SSL certificate. You might see a timeout error in the browser when SSL certificate creation is in progress.

  • Once the certificate is generated, you can start using your domain by replacing normal video links such as https://play.dyntube.io/channels/abc with https://your-domain.com/channels/abc
